“The great thing is that people can download it onto their mobile phone or PDA by just standing on the bluetooth ‘hotspot’ outside the National Park Centre and following the step-by-step instructions posted in the window. You can access it when the centre is closed, it needs no phone signal to work and it’s completely free.” said the Yorkshire Dales National Park Interpretation Officer.

Coca-Cola Launches New ‘Happiness Factory’ Ad with Bluetooth Technology

Coca-Cola is defying the recession with rising sales and a new advert in the Happiness Factory series, taking viewers inside the fantastical world of a Coke vending machine. Consumers can download Happiness Factory ringtones for free from the Coke’s Piccadilly Circus billboard using bluetooth.

Disneyland Paris Launches Free Visitor Information via Bluetooth

Visitors at Disneyland Paris who activate the bluetooth on their mobile phones will be able to find out how long the waiting line is to a particular ride or find out the starting times for the park’s shows. The presence of the bluetooth technology is indicated on the park programme and the location of the terminals is given on the information panels.
